Es Colomer is a special dive site – an uninhabited island between Cala Sant Vicenç and Cap de Formentor – on the northern coast of the Serra de Tramuntana. The depth here can easily reach the 50-60 meters so this is another dive site limited to experienced divers. We usually start the dive in the channel between Es Colomer and the northern coastline, on our way down, the life that is present here, is immediately visible as schools of barracuda welcome you. Tucked into the wall at 18 meters, there is a giant arch that allows you to swim beneath the didth of the island. On the other side of the island, at around 40 meters, you can find some white gorgonian and depending of the day you might also find lobster and tuna passing by in the blue. As this is a deep dive, you need to be an experienced diver. The colour and the underwater life will leave you breathless!
