The Sun Room is a beautiful place. If conditions permit we can dive it as a one way dive. The dive starts on the corner of the bay where there is an awesome canyon that brings us down to a depth of 18m. Here we can find some tunnels and, if we are lucky, we can see some big groupers. As we head back to the corner we find a small cave that leads us to a few amazing swim-throughs. From here we enter the bay at a depth of 10m. On the right shoulder we enter another tunnel that opens out to a spectacular view. Here, we arrive at an underwater beach just before entering the Sun Room at about 5m. At first it appears that you are entering a big black hole – torches are recommended but not absolutely necessary – but at the end of this large cave we can surface in a small room and see the light from outside pouring in. Now, as we submerge back down to the Sun Room you can really appreciate its beauty as the big black entrance has turned into an incredible blue, light and sunny exit.
Here is where we end our dive. Or, if you have enough air left we can check out the two old diesel engines of a crashed boat that have been left behind.
