SSI OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE

If your dream is to become a diver, then the SSI Open Water Diver is the best way to start your scuba adventure! During this course, personalized training is combined with in-water practice sessions to ensure you have the skills and experience you need to become truly comfortable underwater.

The Open Water Diver course consists of 3 parts: Academics, Pool Training and Open Water Sessions.

Academics: The SSI Training Materials and Online Training program are designed so you can study the theory at home or wherever you wish in your own time and at your own pace. You can complete the theory online by signing up on the SSI App Online Training and then attend review sessions with us in the dive centre.

Confined Water Training: During confined water training we will teach you all the skills that you need to master in order to become a safe diver. These session will take place in a protected, shallow and safe environment so that you can get comfortable in the water and have fun at the same time.

Open Water Sessions: During the course you will do a minimum of 4 open water dives. During these dives you will experience the fantastic underwater world and practise everything you learned in confined water.

After you complete your open water training dives you will become a Certified SSI Open Water Diver. Jump in, the ocean awaits!
